Stirke a Light

The Explorer Scouts took the lead in last nights Troop Night.
They taught the Scouts how to tie a timber hitch, a clove hitch, and a sheer lashing to tie some garden canes together. Thenm, each group attached a match to the end of the canes and tried to strike a match and light a candle – with mixed levels of success.
All the teams worked well together and some great lashings were done. Check out the photo’s in the gallery.
