Mini Beasts

Last Monday (15th May) The Beavers and Cubs had a joint meeting outdoors at Riverside Country Park in Rainham
The youngsters brought glass jars to go bug hunting and have a closer look at the mini beasts contained in our local jungles.
They had a thoroughly good evening and got to look at snails, spiders, caterpillers, ladybird, crane flies, mini flies and many others. After they had a close look all the creatures were released back into the bushes they had been found in.
The evening was rounded off by and enthusiastic game of caterpiller tag.
