Harry Potter Cub Camp, Bexon Lane, Bredgar, August 2006
The Cub Pack held it’s camp at Sittingbourne and Milton District’s Scout Camp Site, Bexon Lane, Bedgar over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The Cubs theme was Harry Potter, They took part in activities such as Potions(Tie dying) Herbology (Naturalist badge) A day out at Hogsmead (Herne Bay) Broomstick flying (Roller skating) Defence against the dark arts (Bible refelections) Wand practice (Firelighting and twists). There was a visit from Kent Police Special Constabulary unit from Faversham and the Cubs enjoyed exploring the Police Landrover and trying out the ‘blues and two’s’.
Although the weather was not everything you could hope for in August the Cubs had a good time and enjoyed the activities and earned a wide variety of badges and challenge activities.
The Cub Scout Leader would like to record his thanks to all the leaders who helped over the weekend. It was much appreciated and the camp could not have taken place without you!
