Welcome to the blog
I’ve installed a copy of wordpress on the website and you’ve found it.
Wordpress is a blog publishing tool. For those of you who don’t know, blog is short for weblog. People use it to easily publish content to the web. I’ve noticed recently that our website looks a bit like a blog. Each section has a page that has a roll of events that have happened over time.
To make the site easier to maintain, I thought It would be an idea to try out using a blogging tool to maintain our site.
Currently it’s still in beta (i’m testing it to see what if it will work for us). Please help by making some posts to see what you think. When and if we go live, we’ll restrict who can post content to members of the group but for now i’ve left the ‘anyone can create an account option’ on so you can make a start.
I’ve added some extras to wordpress to let you include pictures in your post. You may need to save your article first to access the picture features.
Also, I’ve found that the editor bit’s work best in Firefox but viewing should be OK in any decent web browser.
Anyway, now that the presses are free – go for you life – and nothing rude or offensive please.
