This weekend, Chatham Salvation Army held it’s annual show at the Central Theatre, Chatham.
The Scout Leaders helped with the collecting of Toys donated at the Sunday afternoon performance and members of the Medway Scout District helped on the Sunday evening. These toys will be distributed to Children in the Medway Towns.

The Explorer Scouts took the lead in last nights Troop Night.
They taught the Scouts how to tie a timber hitch, a clove hitch, and a sheer lashing to tie some garden canes together. Thenm, each group attached a match to the end of the canes and tried to strike a match and light a candle [...]

In 1999, the Cub Pack went to Kingsdown Scout Campsite, near Deal in Kent.

We are provisionally planning to attend the parade and service organised in the town by the Royal British Legion. More details will follow ASAP.
There was an earlier article saying there would be no Cubs on the November 7th. You’ll be pleased to hear that there are some leaders available to run Cubs as usual so please come along.
There was a great fire, with a Guy; soup and hotdogs and some fireworks!
Unfourtunatly we had to cancel Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explroers on Monday because of a problem with the hall – some tiles fell off of the ceiling on Sunday!
