Child Exploitation – and Gingerbread Men

On Monday night, the Scouts made some gingerbread men.

While they were cooking, they had a discussion about Child Explotation using the information on this UNICEF page on Child Exploitation. This was part of the Salvation Army’s Anti Human Trafficking campaign.

Youth Spectacular

On Saturday, 11th March at 6.30pm, all the Young People who meet at the Salvation Army Hall in Chatham (The Sunday School, the Brownies and Guides, the Junior Band and the Singing company) will be putting on an evenings entertainment.

Scouts and Explorers at the Hall

Unfortuantly, The Ice Bowl in Gillingham has Hockey practice on Monday nights so we will not be able to go Ice Skating this Monday.
Instead, the Scouts and Explorers will meet at the hall as usual and will be looking at the Issues surrounding Human Trafficking as part of the Salvation Army’s Anti Human Trafficking Campaign.

District Cub Scout Challenge Competition

Five Cubs from the Pack took part in the District Cub Scout Challenge on Sunday 5th Feb, which took the form of a Persian market (Or trading post AKA various other names).
