Cub Pack Holiday

Last weekend, the Cubs held their Pack Holiday at the Holmbury St Mary Youth Hostel, near Dorking in Surrey.

On the Saturday we went to Drusillas Park and took part in a Zoolympics. The Cubs had to see if what animals they weighted as much as; which ones they could run as fast as and which ones they were as loud as. Back at the youth Hostel they settled in; played some wide games and had supper.

On Sunday they worked on the Naturalist badge, collecting bugs from the woods and pond dipping. In the afternoon they made rockets and did some long distance tracking. In the evening they held another wide game and a traditional camp fire.

On the Monday it was raining quite a lot so after packing everything up, we went to the Pool in the Park in Woking and enojyed the waves, rapids and slides. Everyone had a good time – Click on the photo below to see what we got up to.
