IngredientsÂ

225g Self Raising Flour
110g Brown Sugar
110g. Butter
1 Egg (Beaten)
3 Large Tablespoon Golden Syrup
2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

Method

  1. Blend butter and sugar together.
  2. Add the Syrup.
  3. Mix spices into the flour together with the beaten egg.
  4. Mix until a good biscuity consistenecy.
  5. Cut into shapes and place on a gerased tin.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven for 350- 375F. 180C. Gas 4-5 for 20 minutes.

Decorate with icing for a nice finish.
