4th Medway (Salvation Army) Scout Group

Monday 1st May is a bank holiday and there will be no meetings.

Sorry for the late notice, but this Sunday, 23rd April, is St Georges Day Parade. All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts are expected to attend.

Here are the details:

Meet at the vines at 2.15pm on Sunday 23rd April
Service 3.15-4.15 approx

Collection in aid of Kent Air Ambulance

All sections are going to be closed for the School Easter Holidays.

They all start back on Monday, 24th April.

This year the District Cub Carol Service will be held at our hall.

This weekend, Chatham Salvation Army held it’s annual show at the Central Theatre, Chatham.

The Scout Leaders helped with the collecting of Toys donated at the Sunday afternoon performance and members of the Medway Scout District helped on the Sunday evening. These toys will be distributed to Children in the Medway Towns.

The performances also raised money for the Salvation Army’s Human Trafficking appeal. For more information on this, click on the link below.

We are provisionally planning to attend the parade and service organised in the town by the Royal British Legion. More details will follow ASAP.

There was an earlier article saying there would be no Cubs on the November 7th. You’ll be pleased to hear that there are some leaders available to run Cubs as usual so please come along.

The Scout Group has been invited to a bonfire party by the 7^th Sittingbourne Guides. This will be held at the Hornhill Activity Centre near Sittingbourne from 7.30pm.
